This particular GP has a great deal of knowledge but also compassion and gives me time as needed per particular problem. I found it very useful to say at the beginning of my consultation what is my problem and either say I am really ok and in a hurry or say that I am worried and need more time. When I really needed a lot of time The doctor booked me for a follow up consultation few days later and even gave me a list of things to think about, so that we could have more fruitful discussion
I also always bring a list of topics that I want to discuss with me I find that this helps the doctor to use her time with me better
I recently had surgery and needed my dressings changed daily. The nurses in the treatment room were always helpful, understanding and very accommodating ( I needed spare dressings whilst on a trip). In addition, the availability of nurses on a Saturday morning ensured that I only had the Sundays to worry about having to use the NHS Walk-In centre.
We have always had excellent service from Crouch Oak. With a two year old and a three month old I have needed emergency appointments a few times and have always been able see a doctor within a couple of hours. A routine appointment is usually within a week but a telephone consultation has always been available if I have needed to speak to a doctor sooner.
Every doctor I have dealt with has been friendly, helpful and patient, particularly Dr Sanchez.
I have, on occasion, experienced difficulty in making appointments but am normally seen or speak to a doctor on the same day if it is an emergency. I find that the online system works well and now receiving blood test results via text messages is a great improvement as certainly saves contacting the practice which frees staff for other tasks. Keep up the good work. :)
THE CARE FROM DR SANCHEZ (AND OTHER STAFF WHEN SEEN) IS EXCELLENT AND IF I WRING IN (LONG WAIT) A TELEPHONE APPOINTMENT IS QUICK
